These photographs were made to illustrate a story about the the recent renovations to Crosspointe Church in Grosse Pointe Woods. Everything from the roof to the floor was replaced, restored or renewed, reflecting the vitality and community spirit of a very vibrant Presbyterian church.

When photographing this kitchen, Michael Alessio and I talked about just how hard it is to make a modern kitchen look this perfect - there are no moldings, no 'fudge' factor to hide behind. Everything either fits or it doesn't - it looks right or just plain wrong. I see the 'right' stuff in these images.
